This week was encouraging: Leslie Fesperman, glass artist and owner of Fusions Gallery in downtown Pittsboro, accepted 18 pieces of artwork for the store! Leslie particularly liked the Roosters series as she thinks her clientele will enjoy the "country" flavor. She also offered me "Featured Artist" for the month of August, with the opening on First Sunday, August 5, from 12 - 4 p.m. Come on out and enjoy the charming village of Pittsboro with art, crafts and music for all!
More good news: the wonderful and unique Galaxy Theater in downtown Cary NC, will host a show of my paintings for the month of August. Opening reception 7 - 9 p.m. on Final Friday Cary Art Loop, July 27, 2007. Come on down and enjoy the ambience of Cary's only truly independent cinema, wine and beer, giant home made cookies and best of all, warm home made samoosas.
